Dr. Shelley Cooper serves as the Director of Religious Education at St. Agnes Church and previously taught sixth grade in the St. Agnes School of Religion program. A 30-year veteran educator, she spent 15 years at St. Agnes School as a Computer Applications Instructor and technology leader, helping integrate technology with faith-based learning.

Dr. Cooper holds a Doctorate in Instructional Technology and Distance Education with an emphasis in Telehealth Adoption from Nova Southeastern University, along with advanced degrees in teaching and business. She continues to teach advanced courses to practicing teachers.

Beyond St. Agnes, she is active in community organizations including the Junior League of Kansas City, and The Links, Incorporated, and serves on several local education and faith-based boards such as St. Teresa’s Academy. She has also developed software platforms that improve health outcomes and access to healthy homes for people with disabilities.

Her lifelong commitment to education, innovation, and service continues to reflect the mission of St. Agnes— inspiring excellence in mind, body, and spirit.
