Religion-Find a mission statement of a company or organization you are interested in, and bring it to class on Tues.

English: Finish flashcards for Chap 1 test on Thursday. Study Spelling and definitions. Journal topic-Write about what the lyrics to your favorite patriotic song mean to you.  Include a few lines of the song that are especially meaningful.

Science:  Finish the Lab write up.  Make sure you have done EVERYTHING the lab asked you to do. Due Tuesday.

Mrs. G's Math Group: The students took a comprehensive 8th grade math test today on the computer. (This is not for a grade.  It is just so that I know what they remember and what they still need to learn.)  I will evaluate the data this weekend and use this information to drive my instruction.  No homework in math this weekend.

English-Journal topic:Home Sweet Home. Text: Do #1-5, Analyzing the Writer's Process in complete sentences, restating the question. No vocabulary homework.

Science:  Get safety contract signed by your parents, and sudy for safety quiz on Tuesday.
